If you’re switching to Xsolla Partner Network and want to bring your StreamElements alerts, widgets, and chatbot settings with you, our importer tool now available in early access can handle that. No need to rebuild everything from scratch, just import your existing setup and keep streaming.
The importer works with loyalty leaderboards, chatbot commands, and most overlay widgets including alert boxes, chat overlays, event lists, text labels, images, and videos. Even those fully custom coded widgets will be supported.
We know it is not 100% perfect right now, and that is exactly why we are sharing it early. If you are willing to try it, we would love to work with you to prioritize what needs fixing. Your feedback will directly shape what gets improved first.

How to use the StreamElements Importer
The importer is in early access, which means you will not find it in the regular menus. If you are reading this, you are one of the first people to try it. Here is the direct link to use the StreamElements importer tool and a short walkthrough on how to import your setup over to Xsolla Partner Network:
- Go to: x.la/xpn/dashboard/@me/settings/import/streamelements
- Paste your StreamElements JWT token
- Select what you want to import
- Fine tune your settings. Imported content will appear in the following areas:
- Chatbot: Chatbot settings and Loyalty settings/points
- Overlays: Each imported overlay comes in as its own overlay with all layers intact
- Creator Site: You can display your loyalty leaderboard and chat commands on your creator site. You can also build your own shop from the revenue share campaigns you join. Every creator gets a site at x.la/@<yourusername>
Importer status
The importer is in beta and is still a work in progress. The team is actively adding new features, along with improving the import experience. Below is everything you can currently import over from StreamElements to Xsolla Partner Network:
- Scenes: full scenes with widget placement intact
- Overlays and widgets: alert boxes, chat overlays, event lists, text labels, images, and videos
- Custom coded widgets
- Chatbot: commands, timers, and moderation settings
- Loyalty: leaderboards, point balances, and settings
Thank you to everyone reporting bugs and requesting features in Discord. We do some things differently than StreamElements, so there is a bit of work to ensure full compatibility. We wanted to get this out quickly so you could start using it, which means there are still a few rough edges we are smoothing out.
Known Issues
The following issues are currently being investigated or actively worked on. When a known issue is resolved it will be crossed off the list.
- Channels with more than 100 overlays in their StreamElements account currently only see the first 100 listed
- If the connection drops during import, on-screen progress will freeze but the import will still finish in the background
- Certain alert layout and spacing options are global in Xsolla Partner Network but per alert-type in StreamElements. The import will choose one set of options for conflicting settings
- Custom Variants configured in StreamElements beyond standard sub variants will be ignored. Only primary settings are imported
- Alertbox alert-types with custom code will not import automatically. This code is not yet compatible with Code layers
- Text spacing on imported overlays may not always be consistent with the StreamElements overlay
- Chat commands with messages that exceed the character limit will be skipped by the importer

Importer
Import from StreamElements: bring over your leaderboards, chatbot settings, and overlays. Start importing your setup here: Importer Tool
Overlay Editor
- Custom code layer: place a Code layer to build your own overlay using custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Countdown layer: a new Countdown overlay layer is available for counting down to a set duration or a specific date and time. Customize the look with formatting options, colors and styling, and a custom message when the timer hits zero
- Chat layers can now keep messages on screen indefinitely by setting Duration to zero
- Layer list reorganised and some layers renamed for clarity
- Banner layers now allow the title to be omitted
- Fixed a bug causing issues with Text-to-Speech
- Fixed a bug where Banner animations sometimes would not scroll smoothly to the end
Chatbot
- Per-user and global cooldowns can now be set for each chat command
- Point-award intervals now have more granular timing options
